Hey everyone. VeggieManiac here.
It turns out that I have gotten in contact with two VeggieTales staff members, twice each, and have had no results. I first contacted Mike Nawrocki in 2016, and when I heard back from him in 2017, VeggieTales was going on hiatus. I contacted TBN for the first time in the summer of 2019, and Vincent Aniceto responded asking to see my resume. The third time I contacted anyone was the second time I contacted Vince, and as some of you know, that was when I made the post "In the reserves". I contacted Mike a few days ago, so that was the fourth time I got in touch with someone at BigIdea; he has not responded as of yet.
At this point, I'm actually starting to think one of three things happened. (1 - Vince didn't talk to anyone to get me just one voice role, (2 - he forgot about my desire to work there, or (3 - he possibly ignored me. I think this because over the near YEAR I have waited for him to consider me for a role, NO ONE has emailed me to have me record something for an episode, and there have been SO MANY new roles in the new episodes.
The worst part about it all? With the release of the newest episode, there are only nine episodes of "The VeggieTales Show" left. If I keep getting overlooked, I'll miss my chance to be a part-time member of the BigIdea family. I just don't know how to get their attention because while I can easily film myself, I can't edit my videos, and I feel like my videos are the key to having them notice me.
Anyway, what do you think I need to do to get the BigIdea family to notice me? Can anyone please help me?
