Universal Studios is an American motion picture studio, located in Hollywood, California. They are best known for producing the “Jaws” series, “Back to the Future” series, “Jurassic Park” series, and the “Despicable Me” series.

They helped Big Idea with the distribution for their second feature film, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. On August 22, 2016, NBCUniversal purchased Big Idea's owners, DreamWorks Animation's subsidiary, DreamWorks Classics (formerly Classic Media).

In 2018, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment distributes the re-release of VeggieTales DVDs.

Along with distributing the home media releases of The VeggieTales Show, the movie studio is also currently in the talks of helping develop a brand new VeggieTales movie.
