Trivia[]
- This was made during production of Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie.
- The Gourds Must Be Crazy is not featured on this release.
- This is the first Heroes of the Bible volume to feature Laura Carrot and Scooter.
- This is the only Heroes of the Bible volume for a few things:
- The only one to feature Lovey, The Blue Wind-Up Lobster, George, Carrot Guards, Mike Asparagus, and Lisa Asparagus.
- The only one not to feature Miss Achmetha.
- This is the last Heroes of the Bible volume for several things:
- The last one to feature Tom Grape.
- The last one to feature the Children of Wheaton Evangelical Free Church Sunday School.
- The last one with a runtime of 75 minutes.
- The last one to use the VeggieTales intro from 1998 to 2000.
- The last one to have three stories animated in Softimage.
- The last one to feature the Word Entertainment logo on the packaging.
- The last one to feature the original VeggieTales logo.
- The last VeggieTales release by HiT Entertainment.
- The last one released on VHS, due to the general death of the VHS format in early 2006.
- The last one with the Heroes of the Bible title card at the beginning, the title cards for the three stories, and the credits in a yellow text on a sky background.
- In the kids segments, an instrumental version of I Can Be Your Friend plays, although that song is not in the video.
- There exists an extremely rare early 2002 VHS reprint by HiT Entertainment. It has a black tape with a white ink label, and it has a print date of March 23, 2002.
- Rack, Shack and Benny and Josh and the Big Wall! keep their 1998-1999 masters on the VHS release and streaming services, but used their 2002 remasters on the DVD version as they were already remastered for their VeggieTales Classics DVD releases which came around the spring of the same year.
- Because of this, the 1998-2000 masters would not suit the DVD release well for their low audiovisual quality.
- However, the 1998 master for The Story of Flibber-O-Loo (which is in low audiovisual quality) is still on the DVD release, due to having not yet been remastered in high quality at the time until Are You My Neighbor? was remastered for its VeggieTales Classics re-release in 2005 or 2006.
Remarks[]
- For some reason, the copyright year says 2001, meaning it was produced in 2001.
- The 1998 version of the theme song is shown, due to the compilation being produced in 2001.
- This is likely due to the fact that the compilation was made ahead of time, so that there were enough tapes/DVDs to be manufactured to be at the stores.
Goofs[]
- Dance of the Cucumber and The Song of the CebĂș are uncredited.
- The copyright dates for both Josh and the Big Wall! and the video itself are credited to "Big Ideas Productions, Inc."
