Trivia[]
- This is the first episode of several things:
- The first episode to feature Adele Pepper since LarryBoy and Awful Alvin's Grudge and the first episode where she is voiced by someone other than Melissa Mabie (in this case, Stephanie Southerland).
- The first episode of Season 2 to feature Mr. Nezzer, Madame Blueberry, and Scooter. This is also their first appearances overall since Faithful Friends, Generosity, and Building Others Up, respectively (not counting the song featured in Making Right Choices for the former).
- The first episode of Very Veggie Silly Stories to feature a character originally from The VeggieTales Show.
- The first episode to feature the Scallions since Everyday Kindness.
- The first episode to feature Cucumber Woman since Beauty and the Beet, albeit only during the featured song.
- The first episode to feature a news broadcast since Helping Others.
- The first episode to not feature Dr. Flurry since Making Right Choices and the first episode to not acknowledge him in any way since Everyday Kindness.
- The first episode to use the term "commercial break" since Faithful Friends.
- The first episode where the Podcaster 3000X super computer is mentioned by name since Dealing with Change.
- The first episode where Bob tells Petunia to play a song since Helping Others.
- The first episode to have only the state in which the kid caller lives in acknowledged since Everyday Kindness.
- This is the only episode of a couple of things:
- The only episode of Very Veggie Silly Stories to feature Adele Pepper.
- The only episode of the second season to feature Scooter.
- This episode was released exactly 16 years after the TV version of Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen.
Remarks[]
- One of the foods at Nezzer's Noodles is spinach and zucchini noodles, which might be considered to be cannibalism given the fact that Mr. Nezzer himself is a zucchini.
- During Mac and Cheese, the Silly Song Announcer's lines are cut out. The song also fades out during the final verse.
- Adele Pepper is voiced by Stephanie Southerland in this episode instead of Melissa Mabie, likely due to the latter being unavailable for unknown reasons. Adele also gains a Southern accent in this episode.
Goofs[]
- Scooter's voice is high-pitched in this episode.
Inside References[]
- This episode has some similarities with Helping Others:
- Both are the sixth episode of their respective seasons.
- Both involve and take place at a location or event held and organized by Mr. Nezzer.
- Both involve Bob telling Petunia to play the episode’s featured song.
- Both feature a news broadcast at the end.
Real-World References[]
- The ditty that the Scallions sing is sung to the tune of the Los Del Rio song, Macarena.
- The Fire Quacker and its explosive functions are a play on the term "firecracker", a small, explosive device that is often used for entertainment, a purpose similar to that of fireworks.
- Archibald asking if the chicken will cross the road during the news broadcast is a reference to the joke "Why did the chicken cross the road?"
