Nona is deuteragonist of Duke and the Great Pie War. She is played by Madame Blueberry.
Description[]
Nona was the husband of Gildersleeve and the mother of Ryan. When Ryan got married to Sweet Sweet Petunia Nona, Gildersleeve and Ryan went to live the kingdom of Rhubarb where Petunia lived. But then things get bad and the great pie war breaks out and Gildersleeve and Ryan who were in the war get killed in the war getting hit with pies, leaving Nona and Petunia as widows. And Nona was the enemy of Rhubarb to Petunia's family. But Petunia was so compassionate to Nona that she sacrificed being a princess in order to be with Nona in Scone.
As the years went by Nona was cared by Petunia. Then one evening Duke her second cousin, twice removed and his assistant Lucas go to visit them, when he meets Petunia they both fall in love with each other. Before Petunia offers some soup to Duke, saying that there's not much, but would be glad to share it with him. However, when Duke tries to act gentlemanly in front of Petunia, he accidentally bumps the soup pot when he bows down, which causes the soup pot to swing back and hit him from behind, which causes him to knock the bowl of soup to the ground. Duke and Petunia both try to retrieve the bowl at the same time but they keep bumping each other's heads when trying to do so. Duke then decides to make it up to Petunia regardless, by allowing her and Nona to gather leftover apples from his orchards, which Petunia thanks Duke for.
The next day, Duke and Lucas then go off to see Petunia and Nona and while there Nona reveals the history of her family. About what happened to Gildersleeve and Ryan. After that Duke feels sorry for the both of them and wants to help. Then Nona comes up with an idea. She tells Petunia to joust against Gildersleeve's brother who is Otis the Elevaded to get the other half of Gildersleeve's golden crest (which is in the shape of a duck) that was the key to his castle. As Gildersleeve gave Otis the body of the duck, while the head of the duck, which contains the key to the vault, is given to Nona. When Petunia asks Duke he agrees to joust for her.
Soon, the day of the tournament has come at last. As both Duke and Otis charge towards each other on their horses, but they miss the first two times as the horses then roll up the opposite ramps. Both Duke and Otis then charge towards each other for a third time. As this happens, sunlight reflects off the top of Otis's helmet and onto the key around Petunia's neck, blinding him and leading him to get knocked off his horse by Duke, which means that Duke is the winner of the joust and the crowds cheered for him. Petunia then approaches Duke, as Duke tells her that they'll be family now and that he'll take care of her forever, which Petunia is happy to hear. Duke and Petunia later get married and Nona happy too.

- According to early concept art, she was originally going to be playing as Grandma Nezzer. But in the final, Madame Blueberry was given a role.
