The Mirror is the hidden main antagonist of VeggieTales: Sweetpea Beauty. He was an old mirror belonging to the royalty Blueberry family.
Bio
The Mirror came into possession of Queen Blueberry's grandmother, where he tricked her into creating a decree where only the most beautiful can rule the kingdom of Mostfair. But when Queen Blueberry discovered the mirror is alive, he tells her that the most beautiful in the kingdom is actually a girl named Sweetpea Beauty, who is best friends with her son, Prince Larry. The mirror tricks her into drinking a tea that really makes her ugly whenever she thinks of something bad, especially when she banishes Sweetpea. But with a relentless Sweetpea trying to come back home, the mirror decides that the best way to get rid of Sweetpea is using a poisoned apple cider that will make her sleep forever. But when the queen invites Sweetpea over to trick her into drinking the cider, Sweetpea reviles that she is only interested in making her heart beautiful instead of competing in beauty contests. She also explains that God only cares about inner beauty, which worrying the mirror when the Queen actually starts to take into what Sweetpea is saying. But unfortunately, Sweetpea drank the cider and fell asleep. The mirror cackles in victory and reveals to the queen that he made her ugly so he can rule the kingdom. But before he could take the crown from her, Sweetpea's skunk friend, Gaspard, runs off with the crown. So the mirror runs after the skunk carrying Sweetpea with Prince Larry in pursuit. But after retrieving the crown, Queen Blueberry admits her sins and Sweetpea wakes up, having drank the wrong cider. After a failed attempt to kill Sweetpea, one of the snow peas shot an acorn at him and he falls off the castle shattering.
Personality
The Mirror may seem caring and kindhearted, but he is a crafty and calculating deceiver, having powers that alters the image of the Queen on his glass to make her look beautiful, when she is actually hideous. Once the Mirror's true intentions are revealed, he becomes ruthless and evil to the point of trying to kill Sweetpea Beauty.
