Trivia[]
- This is the first episode of several things:
- The first episode to physically feature Larry-Boy since LarryBoy and Awful Alvin's Grudge and his first appearance in Very Veggie Silly Stories, after being mentioned in On Being Brave and Lasting Joy.
- The first episode to acknowledge Alfred since LarryBoy and Awful Alvin's Grudge, although he is only mentioned.
- The first LarryBoy episode to not feature Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki
- The first episode without a surprise special guest.
- The first episode of Season 2 to feature Mr. Nezzer (although he is only featured in the song).
- The first episode to have a song play almost immediately after the commercial.
- The first episode to have the sponsor acknowledged earlier in the episode before its commercial since Lasting Joy and the first episode where either Bob or Larry announce the sponsor right before the commercial plays since Waiting with a Happy Heart.
- The first episode to have the featured song mentioned by name since Building Others Up.
- The first episode to have Mr. Lunt's animal translation segment occur after the commercial and the song instead of before them.
- The first episode to feature a song that isn't a Silly Song since Forgiveness. It is also the only episode of the second season to feature one.
- The first episode to feature Bumblyburg Park since LarryBoy and the Menacing Mushroom (not counting a mention in LarryBoy and Awful Alvin's Grudge).
- The first episode to feature Obadiah Bumbly's statue since LarryBoy and the Angry Eyebrows Trouble and the first time Bumbly himself is mentioned by name since LarryBoy and the Bad Apple.
- The first episode to feature the Asparagus Singers since Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed, although they are only featured in this episode's song.
- The first episode to acknowledge a kid’s full location (both city and state) since Generosity.
- This episode was released exactly 51 years after Trevor Devall (the voice of Espresso from Pistachio - The Little Boy That Woodn't and The Little House That Stood) was born.
Remarks[]
- Bob says that he has never rode in the LarryMobile before, even though he had done so at least twice.
- On another note, LarryBoy states that the LarryMobile is a one-seater, which is technically true given its current appearance. However, Bob was somehow able to fit in the LarryMobile with Larry the last two times they rode it.
- LarryBoy states that he works alone, which isn't technically true given how he has worked with other superheroes in previous works.
Inside References[]
- LarryBoy's line "No time for chit-chat, Bob!" is a reference to one of Bob's lines from The Gourds Must Be Crazy.
- Bob and Larry recount the story of Joseph near the end of the episode. This story had been adapted in at least one episode.
- Larry describes the Bunny Song as one of his favorite songs, the same way Bob described the new and improved version of the song in Very Silly Songs!
- This episode has some similarities with Waiting with a Happy Heart:
- Both are the second episodes of their respective seasons.
- Both have the featured sponsor acknowledged before their commercial plays.
- Both feature a song from Very Silly Songs! (although the Bunny Song technically originated from Rack, Shack and Benny).
Real-World References[]
- The first male voice in the Lavalicious Chips commercial (besides the announcer) sounds very similar to Ollie Chen from the Disney Channel series, The Ghost and Molly McGee.
