Lenny and the Lost Birthday is the first story in Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men.
Plot[]
It all starts one bright and early morning, Lenny LaBoe (played by Junior Asparagus) wakes up very happy because today is his 8th birthday. But then, something unusual happens. His annual birthday breakfast isn't in his bed. But his day gets even worse; his sister is the one who gets the prize in her Corn Flakes (which is a pink kitty toy), he is forced to watch her favorite TV show in the carpool, he's in recess and after lunch detention as punishment for not paying attention, he drops his lunch all over him, and nobody remembers his birthday. But Lenny's friend is giving him a clue to a surprise birthday party. But Lenny thinks it was a mistake, so he goes upstairs, wanting to cry. But mom comforts him by singing "Things Will Get Better" and telling him that his birthday, March 1st, is tomorrow because this year is a leap year.
