This is also the first episode in which Scallion #1 does not speak since Beauty and the Beet, as well as the first episode to not have a scallion speak whatsoever since Abe and the Amazing Promise.

- The first episode to have characters huddle since Madame's Soccer Skills.
- The first episode to mention Larry's dad since Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella.
- This was the twenty-second episode in production, while it was the twenty-fifth released.
- This is the second time Vogue does not inflate.
- This is the second episode of The VeggieTales Show to have a lesson similar to one from another episode of the show, after LarryBoy and the Menacing Mushroom.
- This episode was released exactly 14 years after the 3-2-1 Penguins! episode, Invasion of the Body Swappers!
- There are several differences between pre-production in the final product:
- There was originally going to be a scene of Laura and her parents letting out worried exclamations as the Bumblyburg Dam shakes after Awful Alvin first utilizes his dam-destroying machine. This was likely cut out due to time reasons.
- LarryBoy was going to say "Have no fear! LarryBoy is here!" when he arrives to rescue the Carrot family.
- LarryBoy's line "That'll hold things together" was going to be interrupted when he notices the shoe of Alvin's machine about to attack the LarryMobile.
- When Laura and her family notice Alvin's robot henchmen approaching the dam, Laura was going to say "Oh boy".
- LarryBoy's plunger was going to flash red when Ricochet communicates with him.
- The scene of Alfred encouraging LarryBoy to not give up by repeating the verse he quoted earlier was not originally planned to be included.
- LarryBoy would have looked up to face Alvin when he says that he doesn't care what he thinks.
- His lines "I've got God in my corner" or "And God does" weren't originally added until the final product.
- Before LarryBoy tells Awful Alvin that he is coming with him, he would have also said his name.
Remarks[]
- Mom and Dad Carrot now take on designs of some of the background characters.
- Qwerty is referred to as "Kubrick" in this episode. Despite this, he is still credited as "Qwerty" in the episode's credits.
- After LarryBoy defeats Awful Alvin, the LarryPlane unrealistically moves by itself before LarryBoy boards it.
- One line of rope would not exactly enough to tie up the League.
- Whenever a Prisoner would receive a package, the police would open and examine it first and decide if it's worth giving to the prisoner.
- There's no way Alvin could of afforded all that expensive stuff in the episode.
Goofs[]
- The section of town where the giant sunbeam attacks is incorrectly referred to as the park.
- In some scenes, the logo on Thingamabob's belt is replaced by a sea foam green circle.
- When the League gasps, Thingamabob's mouth is not rendered properly, as it appears to be the same color as his skin.
- LarryBoy appears to be wall-eyed when he says "I'll handle the cars."
- One of the cars does not appear to have a driver.
- Scooter's body is not textured properly when he says "He's pretending to be Alvin!"
- The rope that is tied up to the League is not rendered properly, as it appears to be disconnected. It also does not appear to touch every member of the League at most points.
Inside References[]
- This episode included a rare look at the Bumblyburg Police Department, which included cameos from incarcerated villains including Scallion #1, Buttons Crimini, and the leader of the Milk-Money Bandits as seen in LarryBoy and the Emperor of Envy.
- The bulletin board that is seen inside Mr. Nezzer's theater is seen inside the Bumblyburg Police Department.
- The verse that Alfred quotes is re-used from Sumo of the Opera.
- One of the background characters is actually one of Naaman's servants from Naaman Takes a Bath.
- The baby pea one of the female carrots is holding uses the same model as one of the French Peas in their baby costume from Don't Stop Believing.
- The potato driving the scooter uses the same model as either Frank or Jesse from LarryBoy and the Emperor of Envy. Likewise, the potato with the tourist outfit uses the same model as a character from Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella.
- The poster in Awful Alvin's cell is the same as one of Callie Flower's from LarryBoy and the Cape-Coat Caper, albeit with glasses, eyebrows, and a mustache, all drawn on it in black.
- Alfred calling LarryBoy through his plungers is a callback to LarryBoy and the Emperor of Envy.
- The newspaper that LarryBoy reads contains pictures from The Little House That Stood and MacLarry and the Stinky Cheese Battle.
- Scooter bringing LarryBoy hot cocoa could likely be a callback to LarryBoy and the Cape-Coat Caper, where Alfred brings LarryBoy hot cocoa to cheer him up.
- Thingmabob yelling Incoming then pushing LarryBoy from lightning could be a callback to Sweetpea Beauty where the Snow Pea yells incoming and pushes him away from the rocks.
- The radio that Awful Alvin uses to trick Officer Scooter and LarryBoy into thinking he's sleeping (and snoring) is the same radio that was used during LarryBoy's Grand Marshall training montage.
- Awful Alvin's robot henchmen are the same robots from Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier and When Being Good Means Giving Up.
- The vehicle part of the invention that Awful Alvin uses to destroy Bumblyburg Dam is a recolored version of the Channel 1 news van.
- The audio recording of one of Awful Alvin's laughs is re-used from LarryBoy and the Angry Eyebrows Trouble.
- The picture on Awful Alvin's cell phone is actually an edited picture of him and Lampy from their last appearance.
- The episode ends with a mention of thieves stealing cotton candy from the Bumblyburg Boardwalk, which is quite reminiscent of the opening to another LarryBoy adventure.
Real-World References[]
- This episode is similar to the tune "5 Little Joey's or Monkeys" where during a dangerous mission, one hero gets hurt.
- LarryBoy's idea of digging up the park (or rather, section of town) and moving it away from the sunbeam is very similar to a scene from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, "Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm," where Patrick comes up with the idea of taking Bikini Bottom and pushing it somewhere else.
- S-Cape's line "We knew the job was dangerous when we took it" is a possible reference to the Dog City episode "The Bloodhound."
- Thingamabob's line "Some people just wanna watch the world burn." references a quote from the 2008 film, The Dark Knight.
