Junior and Mike's Relationship

Junior Asparagus and his dad, Mike Asparagus, have a real father and son relationship. Most of the time, Mike helps Junior by giving him advice for his problems and what God wants everyone to do.

Father/Son Friendship

• Where's God When I'm S-Scared? - Mike checks in on Junior after Junior finishes singing God is Bigger, and Junior tells him everything he learned about Frankencelery, and that God is bigger than anything, and Mike agrees to his words but does suggest they should more careful about what to watch on TV, and that it's okay for Junior to tell them that he's scared, and he tucks him in and says good night.
• God Wants Me to Forgive Them!?! - Mike comes to Junior's aid and scolds Pa Grape and the other grapes for making fun of Junior, and he teaches them that God wants us to be nice to everybody, he also teaches Junior to forgive the grapes, even if they made fun of his name.
• Are You My Neighbor? - While trying to suggest who to invite for Junior's birthday party, Junior's not sure about inviting Fernando, mainly because he was from another country. Mike teaches Junior that God wants us to love everybody, not just people that aren't like us. After coming home from space, Junior does indeed learn his lesson and decides to invite Fernando to his birthday party anyway.
• Rack, Shack, & Benny - Junior, Mike, and Lisa mistake the silly song set for a theme park, and Mike takes a picture of Junior with Larry and Bob.
• Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space! - Once Junior told the truth, Mike thinks Junior much more important to him than his bowling plate.
