The book originally used specially made images from the show, but then used original illustrations in the current publication.

Bob read this story on the official website.
This book along with How Many Veggies?, Pa Grape's Shapes, and Bob and Larry's ABC's were made right around the release of Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space!. Then this along with the other three books were made into The Veggiecational Book around the release of The End of Silliness?. It was then re-released on the same month as Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men.
In the 2012 re-release, Scooter replaced Lenny Carrot, and Frankencelery is nowhere to be seen.
