Incredible Edible Veggie Bowls
- 1 cucumber
- 1 green pepper
- 1 bunch of celery
- 1 bag of mini carrots
- Your favorite salad dressing
- Wash all the vegetables.
- Cut the pepper in half and remove the seeds from the inside.
- Cut one half of the pepper into long slices.
- Cut the celery into 5-6 inch long slices.
- Cut the cucumber into slices.
- Open the bag of mini carrots.
- Pour salad dressing into the remaining pepper half.
- Dip vegetables into the pepper bowl.
Very Veggie Peanut Butter Logs
- 3 stalks of celery
- 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
- About a handful of dried cranberries or raisins
- Wash the celery sticks and cut them into 6-inch long sticks.
- Spread peanut butter on each celery stick.
- Sprinkle cranberries or raisins on top of the peanut butter celery sticks.
Mirabelle's Sweet Baked Bananas
- 4 bananas
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 orange
- 1 quarter of a cup of honey
- 1 scoop of ice cream or frozen yogurt
- Preheat the oven to 375*F.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.
- Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise.
- Gently brush the banana halves with butter and place on the lined baking tray.
- Cut the orange in half and squeeze some fresh juice into a small bowl.
- Add the honey to the orange juice and stir.
- Pour the orange juice and honey mixture over the bananas on the baking sheet.
- Add the baking sheet to the oven. Bake at 375*F for 10-12 minutes or until bananas look soft.
- Remove from oven. Add a scoop of ice cream or frozen yogurt to each serving.
Beet's Alpine Suites Spicy Cider
- 12 cups of apple juice
- 3/4 cup of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of whole cloves
- 1 orange
- Cheesecloth and string
- Pour the apple, orange and lemon juices into a large pot.
- Place the cinnamon sticks, brown sugar and cloves in the cheesecloth and tie with a string. It should look like a little pouch.
- Add the pouch of spices to the pot of juices.
- Cut the orange into small wedges and add to the pot.
- Place the pot over medium heat on the stove for about 10 minutes.
- Throw away the pouch of spices and pour the cider into mugs to serve.
