- This is the first VeggieTales song to be animated outside of Big Idea, as well as the first one to be animated by Jam Filled Toronto (then known as DKP Effects).
- The disco version of this song was included in Sing-Alongs: Dance of the Cucumber.
- In You are Special!, Dr. Jiggle's lines "I can dance!" and "You can dance if you want to" are done differently, he does not say "Oh yeah" before the former line, and he laughs twice instead of three times. His laugh is also played before everyone sings the lyric "Under his shoes".
