More Sunday Morning Songs with Bob & Larry version[]
Junior: I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise
With a capital P
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learning
To hear God's voice
And I am trying
To make the right choices
I'm a promise to be
Anything He wants me to be
Come on, kids! Sing with me!
Larry, Junior, and Kids: I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise
With a capital P
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
Junior: You are too, Larry! (Larry: You talkin' to me?)
All: And I am learning (Oh yeah!)
To hear God's voice
And I am trying (Junior: You know I am!)
To make the right choices
I'm a promise to be
Anything God wants me to be
Junior: Alright, stay with me here. (Larry: Okay.)
Junior and Kids: I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
Junior: And
All: I can be anything that He wants me to be
Junior: And
All: I can climb the high mountains, I can cross the wide sea
All: I am a great big promise you see (Junior: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!)
All: I am a promise! (Larry: Ooh!)
I am a possibility
I am a promise (Larry: Uh-huh!/Junior: Woo!)
All: With a capital P
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
Junior: I do-ah! I-do-I-do-ah! (Larry: Ooooh)
All: And I am learning (Junior: I'm learning!)
To hear God's voice
And I am trying (Sure am!)
To make the right choices
I'm a promise to be
Anything God wants me (Larry: To be)
Junior and Kids: I'm a promise to be
All: Anything He wants me
I'm a promise to be
Junior: Anything He wants me to be-e (Larry: Oh yea-a-a-a-a-a-ah! Woo!)

Trivia[]
- There are several differences between both versions of this song:
- In the Worship Songs version, after Junior sings the first stanza, he adds an "Oh yeah!", which he does not do in the original version.
- During the second chorus, Junior says "You know I am" in the original version after the line "And I am trying" is sung, while in the Worship Songs version, he instead says "I'm trying."
- The word "and" is added before the second and third parts of the bridge in the original version, but not in the Worship Songs version.
- The final line in the bridge in the original version is "I am a great big promise you see," while the Worship Songs version replaces "promise" with "bundle" for this part.
- In the original version, Junior says "I'm learning" after the line "And I am learning" is sung in the final chorus. The Worship Songs version has Jimmy saying this line during this instance.
- The original version has Junior saying "Sure am!" during the final chorus after the line "And I am trying," while the Worship Songs version replaces this with Larry saying "I really am!".
- The Worship Songs version swaps the second word of the lines "Anything God wants" and "Anything He wants me to be" near the end of the song.
