George Robert Stephanopoulos (b. February 10, 1961) is an American journalist, political commentator and former political operative and advisor.
Stephanopoulos is currently the chief anchor and the chief political correspondent for ABC News, a co-anchor of Good Morning America, and the host of ABC's Sunday morning This Week. Stephanopoulos is a regular substitute anchor for ABC World News Tonight.
