Floating is an online VeggieTales short made to promote Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier.
Plot[]
A deep-voiced narrator explains that in the vacuum of space, there's no sound or air. While this is happening, Larry in a crudely-made spacesuit floats around space while giving humorous facial expressions portraying no sound and air. The narrator then explains that living in space is impossible, to which Larry remarks "impossibly fun".
Larry then starts flying around in space having fun, while Bob, who's attached to Larry via a space harness, is worried about how they're gonna get back to Earth. Larry thinks there might be an abandoned space station that they can ride. Immediately after this, Larry says he notices something red, to which Bob thinks he's referring to him. Larry shouts that he sees an incoming asteroid, and when Bob is about to explain to Larry that there are no asteroids, a giant red asteroid gets in the way of their space harness, sending both Bob and Larry flying.
It is then revealed that Bob and Larry are just on the countertop playing pretend, and that the red asteroid was actually a giant rubber ball. Larry rocks back and forth, still attached to the space harness, while remarking that neither of them will ever get off the countertop, to which Bob agrees. Larry's space harness then breaks, and when Bob asks if he's okay, Larry replies that gravity is a harsh reality. Larry pulls on the space harness, which sends a few metal rafters crashing down onto the countertop, crashing down on Bob as well.
