Hawaii Animation Studios was an animation studio located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was founded on February 11, 2010 by Toronto-based company Entrenched, Inc. They provided animation and visual effects for either local or major industries, including IMAX, NASA, and the Discovery Channel. They went out of business sometime in 2012, although their website stayed up until early 2016.
When Big Idea partnered with Entrenched, Inc., they provided animation for VeggieTales episodes from February to October 2010.
