Christopher Kai "Chris" Olsen (born September 10, 1970) is an American film director and producer. He started working at Big Idea when he helped with the animation for the first VeggieTales episode Where's God When I'm S-Scared?.
He left around 1998, shortly after Madame Blueberry came out.
After leaving, he directed and produced several PBS specials, and created a few animated shorts; "Threads: A Pond Full of Pigs" (also distributed by Everland Entertainment), and "Karl Dahl and the Golden Cube".

- When he was hired to animate for the series, Chris would incorporate iconography signs in a few episodes. Some of them include the lions sign from Daniel and the Lion's Den and the boat sign from Larry's Lagoon.
