Larry-Boy: The Soundtrack is an album released on July 27, 1999, encasing the songs and score of the first and second Larry-Boy episodes.

It was re-released in 2006 as LarryBoy: The Soundtrack, expanded to include music from the third episode. Some sections of score from both of the earlier episodes were removed from this version, as were all the pieces of poetry read by Alfred during the score, the spoken introduction tracks, and The W's version of "The Rumor Weed Song".

• The 1999 edition won a GMA Dove Award in 2000, for Children Music's Album of the Year.
• The 1999 version was later bundled with the original two Larry-Boy videos on VHS in the Larry-Boy Power Pack in 2002. The 2006 version was included in the LarryBoy Superhero Power Pack DVD set in 2012 (which included all solo LarryBoy episodes up to that point) and with a double feature DVD of The League of Incredible Vegetables and LarryBoy and the Bad Apple as part of the Ultimate LarryBoy Gift Set in 2016.

Remarks

• The section of score from Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space! (including "It's Laura's Fault" and "It's Lenny's Fault") runs 8:40 in the 1999 version (tracks 2-5). This is reduced to 6:06 in the 2006 re-release (tracks 2 and 3).
  • Notable removals include the score heard when the Larry-Mobile leaves the Larry-Cave (originally in "The Fib Grows and the Water Tower"), and the finale when Larry appears silhouetted in front of the Larry Signal (originally in "Junior Tells the Truth!").
• The section of score from Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed (including "The Rumor Weed Song") runs 17:09 in the 1999 version (tracks 10-15). This is reduced to 12:23 in the 2006 re-release (tracks 5-9).
  • Notable removals include much of the score heard when Larry-Boy defeats the Milk Money Bandit (originally in "Rumor Weed Introduction"), and the moment where the Rumor Weed's head blooms into a flower (originally in "The Confession and the Bloom").
  • The only tracks during the Rumor Weed section that remain the same in both versions are "The Rumor Weed Song" and "Larry-Boy/LarryBoy to the Rescue", apart from removing Alfred's poetry from the latter.

Inside References

• Archibald's line "Yes, I see. Well..." had previously been uttered in The End of Silliness?.
