Trivia[]
- This is the first episode for several things:
- The first episode to feature Scooter since A Thankful Heart Is a Happy Heart.
- The first episode of the podcast series to use a song that was previously used in another episode.
- The first episode of the podcast series to feature a character as the surprise special guest since its first episode.
- The first episode where Mr. Lunt's animal friends speak.
- The first production to feature Mike Asparagus since Bye Bye Bacon Bill! (not counting his picture cameos in The VeggieTales Show), although he is only featured in this episode's song.
- The first production to feature Lisa Asparagus in some form since To Tell the Truth, although she is only featured and/or mentioned in this episode's song.
- The first episode where Dr. Flurry appears outside of a commercial since Lasting Joy.
- The first episode to feature Petunia as a hosting character since A Thankful Heart Is a Happy Heart.
- The first episode where someone other than Bob and Larry say at least one of the closing lines since A Tale of True Courage. In this case, Petunia is the one who says the second closing line "And He loves you very much."
- This is the second episode where Mr. Lunt does an animal translation session in person, after Forgiveness.
- This episode was released exactly 11 years after Princess and the Popstar.
Remarks[]
- Dance of the Cucumber was previously heard in Helping Others. The only difference for that song in this episode is that Junior and his dad's part is included.
Inside References[]
- When Bob, Larry, and Petunia encourage Dr. Flurry by building him up, they make references to some of his previous appearances:
- Petunia points out that Dr. Flurry taught her that a rabbit's teeth never stop growing, with Larry also bringing up the fact that dentists invented cotton candy. Both of these are references to Dr. Flurry’s Fluffy Facts segment from his first appearance in the podcast series.
- Bob recounts the time Dr. Flurry saved everyone from a storm with his Storm-Shrinker 5000.
- Larry reminds Dr. Flurry about the freezing machine he created back when he was a supervillain, an obvious reference to his debut episode.
Real-World References[]
- During the Pants Palace commercial, a voice is heard yelling "Don't touch the thermostat!" in slow-motion. This may be a reference to the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, Krabs à la Mode.
