- The children are the same on Junior's Playtime Songs.
- Friends are Friends Forever was originally by Michael W. Smith. Thus, this is the third VeggieTales project to feature Michael W. Smith in some way, after the 1996 GMA Dove Award segment and a VeggieTown Values: For the Family segment.
Remarks[]
- Between Oh Shenandoah and On Top of Old Smokey, Mr. Lunt claims that the smoke from the campfire is burning his eyes. This is very ironic, considering the fact that he has no eyes.
- Mr. Lunt saying "My eyes are burning" is quite ironic, considering the fact that he does not actually have eyes.
- One of the lyrics of On Top of Old Smokey mentions tomato sauce. This is considered to be cannibalism, since Bob is a tomato and tomatoes are used for tomato sauce.
- Friends are Friends Forever is featured in this album, although previously, in a VeggieTown Values: For the Family segment, Bob says that he and Larry couldn't use this song due to worries of copyright infringement, plus the fact that the song's rights belong to Michael W. Smith.

- At the beginning of For the Beauty of the Earth, Jean-Claude says "Mai-oui, Philippe," a line he previously uttered in Josh and the Big Wall!
- If you listen closely near the end of King Jesus is All, you can hear Junior saying "Oh, you know that's right." This is a nod to one of Mr. Nezzer's lines from Rack, Shack and Benny, as well as one of Mr. Lunt's lines from Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie.
- Larry mentions Little Joe between Clementine and Oh Shenandoah.
- During Home on the Range, Pa Grape says "Oh, there goes one now." This is a likely reference to one of Junior's lines from Dave and the Giant Pickle.

- During Clementine, Jimmy says "Oh brother, where art thou?", which is a reference to the 2000 film of the same name.
- Interestingly, the film's title was previously parodized in another Sing-Alongs album.
- Wyatt Earp was an American lawman and gambler from the American West, who was best known for being involved with the famous O.K. Corral gunfight in 1881.
- Jesse James was an American outlaw and robber, as well as the leader of the James-Younger Gang.
- Wild Bill Hickok was an American folk hero who was known for having a lot of occupations, such as gunfighter, actor, soldier, scout, lawman, and showman.
- The lyrics of "On Top of Old Smokey" are based on an infamous parody of the song, called "On Top of Spaghetti."
