• All episodes are presented in 16:9 widescreen.
  • Because Josh and the Big Wall! and King George and the Ducky were not animated for widescreen, the overall picture is slightly cropped and stretched, with it stretching further near the edges and because Gideon: Tuba Warrior wasn't made for Widescreen either, the top and the bottom screen is cropped to Widescreen.
• Despite the fact that 5.1 audio mixes exist for all 4 episodes included, only Noah's Ark contains one on this DVD. Gideon: Tuba Warrior is presented in mono, while the other two are in stereo.
• The titular character in Noah's Ark (played by Pa Grape) is not given focus on the front cover, though he is visible (if a bit obscured) on the back cover.
• Larry is featured on the cover as three different characters.

Remarks

• Three of the episodes on this DVD share a common theme. Noah's Ark and Gideon: Tuba Warrior are both billed as "A Lesson in Trusting God". Josh and the Big Wall!, while not exactly the same as it's "A Lesson in Obedience", features the Israelites having to trust (and thus obey) Him to get through the walls of Jericho.
• King George and the Ducky is a somewhat odd choice for a "Bible Heroes" DVD. Not only does the title character act antagonistically for most of the story (though he reforms at the end), "King George" is not a figure in the Bible. The episode was conceptualized as a child-friendly retelling of the rather child-inappropriate story of King David and Bathsheba as "King David and the Bath Ducky". The names of people and locations were changed, and its roots in the Bible were not referenced, so not to encourage kids to look up the original story. Its placement on this DVD in theory does exactly that, while the change of David's name to "King George" is also likely to confuse Biblically-literate buyers at first as to who this supposed Bible Hero is.
• Although King George and the Ducky was originally billed as "A Lesson about Selfishness", this DVD's cover refers to it as "A Lesson in Selfishness", as if it is teaching you to be selfish, something deliberately avoided in the original phrasing.
