Veggie Tales in Farsi!
داستان سبزیجات (translation: The Story of Vegetables) is the Persian dub of VeggieTales.
Several Persian dubs of the series were done: The first dub (and first batch) in 2005 exclusively for Iranian churches (though it was never released on home video), a second one in the late 2000s in Tehran, Iran at Glory Entertainment and a third one in the mid-2010s at Qualima for the newer VCDs. Furthermore, a dub consisting of The Star of Christmas and Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry's Big River Rescue were also produced in an unknown year possibly at the same studio after the third dub, but with a completely different voice cast than the previous two dubs. The fifth and current dub (and second batch) is done at SAT-7 Studios and currently airing on SAT-7 Pars.
As states in parentheses above, the first and fifth dubs qualify as the first and second batches (the first batch dubbing the same episodes as the first batch of the Arabic dub, with the other batch dubbing the rest of the series once without redubbing any older episodes) as these two dubs were licensed and authorized by Big Idea. The second, third, and fourth dubs (which either redubbed some episodes from the first batch or dubbed episodes from the future second batch) do not count due to having been produced illegally without the authorization of Big Idea (as with numerous television shows dubbed into Persian).

- The first dub features the same number of episodes that were dubbed in Arabic at Arascope in 1998, but uses the 2000s international masters and also has Qwerty's screen plastered from Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space! for any textless use of Qwerty's verses.
- Are You My Neighbor? was also left out of the 1st Persian dub, likely for the same reasons as with the Arabic dub, but when the 5th dub of the series was being produced for SAT-7 Pars years later, Are You My Neighbor? was newly dubbed in Persian all of a sudden.
- In Rack, Shack & Benny's closing countertop, the textless Qwerty screen from the episode's 1990s international version is masked onto the 2002 remaster's visuals, hinting the studio was given this version along with the 2000s international version to work with. Strangely, a bit of the original English text on Qwerty's screen slips in at the top of the screen during close-up shots of Larry.
- This textless edit is also used in the European Portuguese dub of the episode.
- Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space! uses the 2000s international version in the 1st Persian dub, omitting the Larry-Boy Theme Song and puts an instrumental of the show's theme song in the credits.
- This is the only dub to include Lord of the Beans. The reason for this is because of the copyright troubles that New Line Cinema filed against Big Idea for illegally parodying the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
- In Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen, The Battle is Not Ours is removed.
- While the original music and sound effects are used throughout the various episodes, a vocal remover is used in an attempt to remove the original voices. The English dialogue can still be faintly heard in most episodes. Additional changes such as new sound effects and vocal cues from characters are used as well.
- Bob and Larry's opening dialogue before the Theme Song is left out in Lyle the Kindly Viking.
- The music for The Star of Christmas is completely changed and has some sound effects missing, such as Millward accidentally bumped the shelf in which the church bells slide to the basket that lifts up.
- In Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler, the following changes occurred:
- The music during the beginning scene for The Asparagus of LaMancha was completely changed and some sound effects are different.
- The pea guards' French dialogue is translated into Persian.
- In Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella, some changes are made:
- The music for the VeggieTales Theme Song is changed, and have added some sound effects.
- The score during the Moose Lake Children's Museum scene is completely changed as well.
- The audio for Mexican Ice Cream and Rise and Shine are replaced with some piano music.
- The reprise for Rise and Shine also uses a different piano music as well.
- Sippy Cup also uses a different music after Mr. Lunt says "Let me check my records".
- The second dub's sources were taken from the 20th Century Home Entertainment DVD releases of the show.[citation needed]
- The English title on the video cover for Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space! has the word "outer" mistranslated and misspelled as "othr".
- Most of the cover art for the Persian videos feature characters from different episodes or characters who don't appear in the episodes at all.
- In the SAT-7 Pars dub, it is very likely that Larry, Junior Asparagus, and Liam Young have the same voice actor.
- This is the only dub to have the Larry-Boy Theme Song in the beginning and The W's version of The Rumor Weed Song at the end in Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed.
- On Christmas Day 2024, SAT-7 Pars aired The Little Drummer Boy with the dialogue and backing track on the left channel and only the backing track on the right channel.
